Zyrtec And Food Allergies

Zyrtec, also known as cetirizine HCI is a medication used to treat many different types of allergies. Even the company motto is 'Lots of allergies, just one Zyrtec.' One of the best things about this drug is that it is approved for very young children. Zyrtec and food allergies is a subject many people want to know about. If allergies are diagnosed, the first course of action is to avoid the offending food. This can be difficult sometimes because certain food items may contain allergens that you are not aware of. For example, peanut butter may be found in chili. On the subject of peanuts, allergies to them are often so severe that even a fragment of peanut dust can set off a reaction. Read labels carefully and get plenty of information about what you're ordering when dining out.
